Oindrila Bala, a former Tax Consultant, was the runner-up on the reality TV Show, ‘Masterchef India Season 6’ in 2019.
She was rejected from the show twice before; she finally applied the third time & ended up being the runner up on the show.
She has always liked cooking since she was four years old, by the age of eight, she started baking cakes and making egg rolls with the help of cooking books. Her mother was her inspiration and she learned a lot from her.
Known as the ‘Dessert Queen’ on the show, she quit her nine-year job as a Tax Consultant with an auditing firm to pursue her passion for cooking.

An amazing baker, she started her own dessert boutique called ‘The Sweet Spot’ in 2019 in West Bengal.
From impressing judges with her baking skills to being designated as the dessert queen, Oindrila’s journey on ‘Masterchef India’ has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride.
